What Is MRI Linac?

MRI Linac combines two technologies: an MRI scan, which lets us see things in great detail beyond what we can see with a classical CT scan, and a linear accelerator, which is a machine that produces high-powered X-rays to treat cancer. The MRI Linac technology has been transformative for radiation oncology and is particularly beneficial in treating some specific cancer types.
