Registration Open for 2024 Miles for Moffitt Presented by AutoNation

If you missed last year’s Miles for Moffitt presented by AutoNation, you won’t want to miss the 2024 event. Registration for the 19th Annual Miles for Moffitt is officially open. 

Last year, the event saw record-breaking numbers as more than 9,500 participants filled Ford Thunder Alley at Amalie Arena or participated virtually, raising over $1.6 million, surpassing Moffitt Cancer Center’s goal of $1.5 million. Participants also formed 430 teams, which was the most for the event in years. 

Moffitt is looking forward to another big year with a fundraising goal of $1.7 million. The cancer center will also partner with AutoNation, the presenting sponsor for the 12th year.

Since its inception in 2006, Miles for Moffitt has raised over $12.8 million, helping Moffitt researchers pilot discoveries to create groundbreaking and advanced treatments that improve the lives of cancer patients. The funding also aids the cancer center in gaining millions in additional federal support. 

“Miles for Moffitt is one of the most inspiring community events in all of Tampa Bay because thousands of people come together to raise money for a better future,” said Maria Muller, president of the Moffitt Foundation. “We’re looking forward to another record-breaking year that will contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.”

Register for this year’s event on Nov. 23 and join friends, family and Moffitt supporters as they come together for one cause: cancer research. Early registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Register before July 31 and receive an early bird special gift in the mail!
