In celebration of Halloween, Moffitt’s Volunteer Services was proud to bring back the Howl-O-Ween Pet Therapy Parade! The Pet Therapy dogs visited campuses on the days leading up to Halloween, wearing their most spook-tacular costumes. From a dog dressed as pumpkin to a four-legged pickleball player, there was no shortage of fun from our festive furry friends.

Therapy dogs provide the ultimate distraction from hospital life for patients, caregivers and team members. The Pet Therapy program at Moffitt Cancer Center utilizes certified animals and handlers through Animal Assisted Therapy to achieve physical, social, cognitive and emotional goals with patients.
