In honor of its 25th anniversary, the Arts in Medicine Program at Moffitt Cancer Center gathered patients, family members and team members to celebrate. The event kicked off with an hour of musical performances followed by heartfelt speeches from current and former program leaders and participants.

John Burgess, an avid sketch artist, used marker and paper to perform a live sketch-along of a speech by his wife, Barbara. He even made a caricature of musician in residence Lloyd Goldstein and his upright bass.

The event concluded with a walk through the Healing Arts Gallery with pieces from the past 25 years on display to pay tribute to the program’s growing history.
