Moffitt's IPOP Service Reduces Time in Hospital

Moffitt Cancer Center’s Inpatient/Outpatient (IPOP) service allows patients to receive some treatment regimens historically administered in the inpatient setting in a comfortable outpatient setting. These include some malignant hematology and sarcoma regimens. Rather than spending time inpatient at Moffitt, patients may have the option to receive their treatment in the Moffitt infusion center and then return home, which can reduce anxiety and minimize time spent away from family.
